Symptoms
The compressor will not start (it makes a humming sound) and the thermal circuit breaker intervenes
Likely Cause
- Electrical Connections incorrect
- Low voltage at compressor
- Faulty start capacitor
- The relay does not close
- Electric motor - winding interrupted or in short circuit
Remedy
- Make the connections again
- Find and remove the cause
- Find the cause and replace the capacitor
- Find the cause and replace the replay if necessary
- Replace the compressor or get it repaired
